Hossam Elgamal is a board member and treasurer of AFICTA (African Information & Communication Technologies Alliance) www.aficta.org, contributing in making synergy between African nations ICT industries, bringing stronger ties & higher maturity by sharing knowledge, challenges and successes, and connecting with International ICT industry cloud and governing policies.

Hossam is also currently the Vice-Chairman of Eitesal Association www.eitesal.org, the leading ICT industry NGO in Egypt and head of it executive office, previously board member & chairing its Software Division serving the SW industry by advocating for them and boosting their business development, technical and entrepreneurship capabilities. He is also member of several committees in MCIT, ICT chamber, & the AMCHAM.

In his Capacity, he is currently participating in formulating the ICT industry in Egypt & related strategic projects with the government.

He is a member of the National Child Internet Safety Committee, contributing in better legislations, awareness, training and technology implementation to assure safer internet use for children.

Hossam started his NGO activities since College, and he initiated the French Speaking Engineers Association www.aife-egypte.org in 1993 and became its first Chairman.

Hossam is focused currently on setting ICT strategies to serve different market segments in growing countries achieving creative non-traditional frog leaps toward prosperity by capitalizing on technology transfer, localized creative ideas and best successful similar projects worldwide to roll out. Specific technological focus is given to Information Security, e-learning solutions and e-health solutions.

As a serial entrepreneur, he is currently partner and managing director in GNSE Group www.gnsegroup.com, founder and managing partner in Edrac www.edrac.com, and in Agora www.forsa.com.eg, and partner in Telemed international www.telemedint.net.
